The lock meets expectations, easily integrated into Home Assistant via Matter. The only thing that bothers me a bit is the "wait" between touching the lock and it being released during auto unlock. It's only a second, but still. It doesn't detract from the 5-star rating, though.

I am convinced and thrilled

I'm thrilled. Installation of the remaining components I ordered was easy. (I opted for the Connect and Clicker systems). The app allows me to easily grant or block access, specifying who has access and when, and Connect lets me unlock the door remotely.

Great but missing extra app security

So far, it's working as expected. I've integrated it into Homey, and that works well. However, Google Home sees the lock from Homey but doesn't do anything. A minor drawback. I also miss extra security for the app, like your bank account, for example. If your phone isn't locked immediately, someone could easily open the door. An extra login security feature would be very welcome. It would require a PIN, and then the app would open. My wife doesn't want the app on her phone for this reason. Actually, she has a point. This phone lock isn't sufficient.

Absolutely recommendable

We only have three locks in use, but they're on different buildings, and have been for several years. It's easy to set up and works perfectly, even with remote access to open the door for someone outside. I now need a lock for a very thick door; the outer dimension is 8.5 cm, but only locks with a maximum dimension of 6.5 cm are offered. 🤷🏼‍♂️ The technical effort required to develop such a lock shouldn't be too high. 💪🏻 @ BOLD: I'm waiting for it. 😉😎

Meets basic expectations!

Bold Elite Door Lock Review The Bold Elite door lock functions properly and meets basic expectations. However, installation was challenging. The included instructions were unclear and poorly written, making the process unnecessarily complicated. For example, the manual states that a check mark should turn green after a certain action, but this wasn't the case. That takes a while. Another point of concern is the numeric code function. It lacks a distinct "click" when turning the door handle, making it difficult to confirm whether the code has been entered correctly. As a result, you often end up using simple numeric codes like 2-1-2-1, which is detrimental to security. This can be especially inconvenient in the dark or when in a hurry. Overall, the lock is functional, but there are certainly areas for improvement in terms of user-friendliness and the installation manual.
